Share songs
Any content in your library (songs, songbooks or groups) can be shared with others. To get started, you’ll need an active GoPlayAlong Cloud account.
Always make sure you have the right to share the content you distribute.
Add to cloud
Make sure you are signed in to your GoPlayAlong Cloud account. In your library, select the song(s) or songbook(s) you want to share, then right-click and choose Add to cloud from the context menu.
Simple sharing
Once your content is in the cloud, right-click it again and select Sharing from the context menu.
You can then choose between two sharing options:
- Invite specific people: Enter the email address or username of the person(s) you want to invite, then click Add.
- Create a public link: Turn on the Public sharing switch to generate a shareable URL that anyone can use to access your content.
By default, public sharing is disabled for your account. To enable it, contact us and provide a brief description of your project.
Group sharing
If you are managing a band or musical project with multiple members, consider using the Groups feature to share songs and songbooks more efficiently.
First, create a group for your project and invite members. Any new songs or songbooks added to the group will be automatically uploaded to the cloud and shared with all members.
To create a new group, Select Library > New group from the system menu or press
To add members, open the group, then select Members under Group details. Enter the email address or username of the person(s) you want to invite, then click Add.
