Rehearsal mode
Rehearsal mode lets you invite students or band members to play a song across multiple connected devices. Playback is controlled by the host, with every device kept perfectly in sync. This provides hands-free, synchronized playback for all, personalized to their instrument and notation choices.
Creating a rehearsal room
Select Cloud / Rehearsal from the system menu. Enter a room name, then invite other users to join your rehearsal room.
Guests can use the free browser app or the desktop app. They must connect to their cloud account before joining the rehearsal. Invitations will appear instantly as in-app notifications.
Guests can join a rehearsal room for free, but the host is required to have a Desktop + Cloud license.
If you frequently rehearse with the same musicians, consider saving the member list as a Group. This makes setting up future rehearsal sessions faster. In the rehearsal room settings, invite your friends, then click Save as a group…

Online classes
Rehearsal mode is perfect for online music classes. If your students are not in the same room, audio must play on all connected devices. In the rehearsal room settings, ensure the checkbox labeled Mute audio on connected devices is turned off.
Playing in the same room
If you and your fellow musicians are in the same room, only one device should output audio to avoid echoes. Enable Mute audio on connected devices in the rehearsal room settings.
Hands-free experience
After all guests are connected, the host can load songs that appear automatically on guest devices. Playback is fully controlled by you, and all other devices will mirror your actions. This includes play/pause, looping sections, using count-in or metronome features, and adjusting the tempo.
